Dear Dream Zone,

I have recurring dreams that I am driving a car from the back seat. When I realize it, I frantically try to climb into the front seat. On several occasions it even appears that I am up in the sky above the car trying to keep control of the car on the road far below

Lauri: You get this dream whenever you feel you don't feel like you have a handle on something going on in your life, when you are having a hard time "steering something in the right direction." You may find you get this dream when you need to be in charge, "in the driver's seat" but perhaps have been too distracted by other issues that are in the back of your mind, which is why you are in the backseat. When you are above the car, it's a good indication that again, you have your head in the clouds and are not giving enough attention to something that you need to be in control of. The message of the dream is to focus on the task at hand before you lose complete control or find something you can more easily devote your attention to.

Sherri Replies: At work I have had a problem employee who made things difficult when confronted and so I found it easier to ignore her distracting behavior than dealing with it, so the interpretation makes sense to me.
