 Since its premiere in Paris 165 years ago, Giselle has enthralled audiences the world over. And though the ballet has seen countless productions, Mania Gielgud's version harkens back to the fervent style and drama of the 19th century original. Boston Ballet closes its 2006-2007 season with this heartbreaking story of ill-fated love. The Company's 2002 performances of Gielgud's Giselle were hailed as a landmark achievement - tickets were hard to come by. Don't miss this most poetic full-length classic.
